Part of my life

Nash isn't quite 2 weeks old yet but it seems like he has been around for A LOT longer than that. It sounds so cliche but I really can't imagine my life without him! He is such a good, cute baby. I just want to bite him! He cracks me up with all the faces he makes (so hard to capture them on camera!) I really love being a mom :)
It's kinda hard to see, but he furrows his eyebrows like this all the time just like his dad!
Love the cross eyes :)

He's here!!!

Nash Duncan Bodily finally arrived on Friday November 21st. He weighs 8lbs 8oz and is 21 1/4 in. and has a lot of hair suprisingly! What a wonderful, overwhelming feeling to have him here! He is so good so far, he didn't really even cry when he came out just kept looking around at everything! We'll post some more pictures later. :)
He likes to stretch out like this all the time...

Conference

I know I'm about a month late, but we went up to Show Low for conference weekend with all the Arizona Bodily's :) It was nice and relaxing and I loved listening to conference. I didn't get many pictures but I love this one...

It's Reese boy and Preston after they had been out riding on the motorcycles and weren't happy that they were having to come back inside.

My old roommate Janae came to stay with us for a week or so while her husband was away for work, it was so fun to have her around again. Like old times except now she has 3 cute girls! We did lots of shopping and LOTS of swimming :)

A few weeks ago Fuz went to Black River to go fishing with some family and friends, there were about 10 of them or so and they came home with about 50 or so trout among them, so we had fresh fish tacos. YUM!

...Carolina in my mind

Fuz went to North Carolina on his mission(quite a few years ago), and hasn't been back and I have never been to that part of the country so we decided to go on a little vacation before the baby comes! We flew into Raleigh and then drove ALL over the eastern and middle part of NC, down to Myrtle Beach and up to Chesapeake, Virginia.(luckily our rental car had sirius and we both had our ipods!) It was so beautiful and green! It rained off and on for 3 of the days but mostly was just nice and humid! When we got there we stayed with some people he knew from his mission at the cute bed and breakfast they run in Carthage and they were so nice. The backyard was beautiful except in one hour of sitting out there I got 20 mosquito bites on my legs! We also stayed with a family he knew in Southern Pines, the Blanks. That was probably my favorite little town. It was so cute and they took us on a little walking tour of the downtown and were nice enough to make us dinner and let us stay the night in their beautifully renovated old house. I want a cute old house with character! There really is a difference in the southern hospitality down there! Everyone was so friendly! I loved it! We also got to surprise one of our friends who used to live in Arizona. We stayed with the Hollobaugh's for one night and got to see their cute kids and catch up. We laughed a ton and are hoping they move back here soon! We ended the trip in Virginia visiting family we hadn't seen in about a year and a new niece we had never met! It was so nice to catch up and see how much all the boys had grown! The whole trip was so relaxing and I loved being able to spend time with Fuz. I told Fuz that minus the mosquitos I could live in North Carolina if we had to move. Everyone is so welcoming and nice and I loved seeing where Fuz spend 2 years of his life and was amazed at the things he could remember and all the places he could find by memory! :)

This is one of the cute old fixed up houses in North Carolina. I love them!

This is a beautiful neighborhood view in NC! Isn't it gorgeous! So peaceful too!

I told Fuz I wanted to eat at some local places that we don't have in Arizona, so where does he choose.....Fuddruckers of course!

New Bern is the birthplace of Pepsi so we had to stop and get one! (notice Fuz's appropriate southern shirt)

We were driving down the road one night and noticed tons of frogs so Fuz pulled over and tried to catch one, he got a toad but no frogs (all my pictures were blurry) it was pretty entertaining :)

It was really wierd, there were little cemeteries all over the place, I had never seen anything like that before but I guess a lot of people have family cemeteries there, and there are TONS of churches everywhere!

This is Fuz and Sam trying to catch a crab at the beach.

This is one of the three crabs they caught!

This picture is for everyone who requested to see one of my belly, it's kind of blurry but it's the only one I have of me showing my belly, at least I still look small compared to the bear! :)

Baby doctor

Okay so the last Dr's appointment I went to they talked to me about getting a pediatrician and how you are supposed to have one chosen before you leave the hospital etc. I don't know any pediatricians so I'm asking for suggestions! If anyone knows of a good pediatrician leave me a comment and let me know please! :) Thanks!

Part 2

In the middle of July Fuz & I headed down to Tucson with our friend Genesis for my nieces baptism. They currently do stake baptisms, so there were about 8 kids getting baptized that day. She was really excited and it was so neat to see her be baptized and growing up! So fast! I remember on my baptism day I forgot to pack myself a towel and had to make due with paper towels! :) The whole family got to come down to Tucson for it and spend time together which rarely happens, maybe once a year or so at Christmas so the weekend was lots of fun. Besides the baptism we did lots of talking, shopping and swimming, and the kids got kick out of doing Devin's hair and you can tell from the picture he was really enjoyed getting his hair done too :)

At the end of the month we went up north to celebrate Pioneer Day with some friends, Lee & Tiesha and their kids and Daniel & Abbey and their kids. We were lucky enough to be able to borrow one of our good friends "cabin" to stay in.

He is so nice to let us stay there and the cabin/house is amazing and has tons of stuff to do. WE got there Friday night and stayed up late then woke up early Saturday morning to drive to St. Johns for the big parade! The kids loved running after the candy the floats threw out. We also went to the rodeo, made the required walmart trip (where the kids had tons of fun, seriously) and at the end of the trip Daniel even got to go fishing like he'd been wanting to... it was tough to head back to reality and go to work on Monday morning.

Recap part 1

I'm finally updating again and I know it has been forever so I'm just going to give a rundown of the highlights of the last month, in two seperate posts because its getting too long!!

*Quite a few months ago I heard High School Musical was coming to Gammage. Anyone who has daughters or nieces or friends etc that are between the age of 4-14 probably know what HSM is. My nieces were OBSESSED so I decided to surprise them and got tickets, I didnt tell them where we were going until we actually got dropped off at Gammage, they thought we were just going to see where I went to school. They went crazy!! It was well worth it to hear their squeals and thankyou, thankyou, thankyou's! I have never seen so many little girls anywhere like that in my life. The lights went down and everyone went nuts. It was really fun, though a couple of my nieces kept leaning over to whisper.."that's not what happens in the REAL one" then would proceed to tell me exactly what it was like in the movie version since they had it memorized! It was a fun night and my little nephew got to watch the last 2 songs of the show when they came to pick us up so he was happy becuase he thought he got to see the show too!
4th of July weekend we couldn't decide what to do, so we ended up going camping with some friends on Mt. Graham for a night. It was gorgeous, I was afraid it might rain but it didn't and I was a little nervous on the drive up there because in a matter of about 45 minutes we saw 8 skunks just ambling down the road!!! I had only ever seen 2 skunks total in my whole life and that was from far away and I knew we were going to be sleeping in a tent, but if they came near us I didn't know. We also saw a beautiful owl that just sat in the middle of the road staring at us for about a minute before flying away.
When we woke up in the morning we discovered that two of the car tires were in really bad shape, they had wire sticking out of them so we weren't going to make it to Mexico on them. So we stopped in Safford at Walmart and finally over 3 hours later were on our way!!! We went a little crazy in Walmart, I know it has everything and all but 3 hours is a long time to wait! This is Fuz being patient in the tire center. We got to visit our friends the Taylor's for a few days and had lots of fun snorkeling in this pond.. and eating (my favorite part) tacos, tortas, hotdogs, french toast with homemade syrup YUM! and just playing around! On our drive home from Mexico we stopped and saw these cute mini donkeys on the side of the road. The super furry one was Fuz's favorite
