For Father's Day...

We are a couple of days late, but in honor of Father's Day we found out today that we are having.... a mini Fuz! :) Yep, definitely a boy and we are so excited! It just got a little more real today and I can't wait to see him in person!

Tunoa's Blessing Weekend

This past weekend Wes and Asae blessed their new baby Tunoa. I wish I had gotten a picture of him in his blessing clothes but I this is the only one I got later that afternoon at the house.
The blessing was really nice but my favorite part was when the primary kids in Wes & Asae's ward got up to sing their song to the dad's and Fuz told 3 yr old Olivia(she is the one in the mask in the picture) she needed to go too, she looked around and didnt even hesitate and went up on stage to just stand there and smile since she didn't know any of the words! :) It was soo funny to see.
It was fun to have some family in town this weekend with everything going on. Marianne & Cody came down from Flag, Katrena & Nick came from California and Mel & Alisa's family came from Utah so it was actually a bit of a full house again for Sunday dinner! I kept wanting to take pictures all weekend but didnt get very many. These are all typical pictures of the happenings of the weekend...

Memorial Day

For the long weekend we decided to go on a little trip. We left late Thursday night and took Genesis with us and drove to Show Low. It rained the whole way up and the next morning it was snowing and snowed or rained most of the day! I always think of it as the kick- off to summer but it didnt feel like it! We stayed with some friends at the Duncan's cabin. We ate, went to some thrift stores and played some fun games with a group of friends that night. Saturday morning we left to New Mexico to visit the Heaps and Allen at the Heap ranch. The weather was gorgeous and we had good food and great trip. While we were there we went to see an old ghost town. There were a bunch of really old, different houses, this was Fuz's favorite.

We did find an old abandoned mine on the side of the mountain.
This is Fuz, Genesis, and Allen trying to work up the nerve to go in (they never did).

I guess there are wolves in that part of the area so the Heaps told us about "wolf cages" All the kids are supposed to stay inside these "safe" cages while they are waiting for the school bus! Isn't that crazy! I don't think I would just drop my kid at the school bus to wait in a cage like this....

We didn't see any wolves but we saw some deer and TONS of elk. It was so beautiful and so relaxing! Fuz can't wait til he can move to a small town. We didn't even hit traffic like we thought we would on the way home to Tempe! So the only downside was that when we drove through Globe the Burger House was closed and that meant no Green Chile mixed burros :(
